FUN IN THE SUN TAG | LIPGLOSS AND 5SOS

Hey gals!

I love this tag, and have read some blog posts on it, so lets get started with this tag!

1. What's the best part of summer time?

I love the sun and warmth! I am half Californian, so, well I love the heat!!! I also love not being at school! (no offence school) I think, being a teen in school, is really stressful, so its good to have time off!

2. Do you tan, or burn?

I actually tan, quite well! I don't actually remember the last I was burnt, and I have been sun-bathing this summer! 

3. Favourite summer nail polish?

I ADORE the Sally Hansen Hard as Nails in Pretty in Pink! I love it so much and its such a fun, bright pink colour! 

4. Favourite summer drink?

I love Vimto! It's a grape and raspberry flavoured sparkling juice! It's bright purple and super yummy!!! 

5. Favourite summer clothing item?

I absolutely love my American Eagle Jeans. They are so comfy! I have the Medium Wash Jeggings and the Dark Wash Skinnys! I can't live without them!! 

6. Favourite current phone app?

I love instagram and snapchat! I can't live without them!!!  

7. Favourite summer movie?

THE FAULT IN OUR STARS!!!!!!! I have nothing else to say...

8. Favourite summer beauty product?

I love lip balms, and they should really have some SPF, if you buy it in summer!

9. Favourite summer activity?

I go on runs every summer morning, because, it really helps me start my day right! Also, its fun and listening to my music! My music always helps me get up and running!!

MY FAVOURITE MAKEUP PRODUCTS | LIPGLOSS AND 5SOS

Hey guys!
I love makeup, like, more than life! I spend all my money on makeup or concerts, so I decided to share my favourite products with you guys! If you want me to do a post on my favourite skincare products, comment below! Let's get started!

BB Cream- I absolutely love my Maybelline Dream Pure BB 8in1 BB Cream in Light. It has brilliant coverage, and is great for my combination skin. A lot of the time, I skip out on concealer, because the coverage is amazing. Its also a drugstore product, and is at a great price, and I am really happy with this purchase. click here for more info!   

Palette- I love the Barry M Natural Glow Shadow and Blush Palette. The colours are great and nice for a for beginners in makeup and beauty  The colours really remind me of the colours featured in some of the Naked  Palettes! click here for more info!

Mascara- I have two amazing mascaras I want to share with you guys! One is more dramatic, and really waterproof, and one is natural and actually, does something really cool! The first one is Maybelline The Falsies Volume Express Black Waterproof. This makes your lashes look dramatic, and the waterproof formula really works! I recommend this for people that have used mascara before, because the brush can be a bit fiddly! click here for more info! I also love MaxFactor Eye Brightening Volumising Mascara for Green Eyes. What this mascara does is makes the colour of your eyes really stand out. I have green eyes, and to make my eye colour really,well green, it has little bits of red inside (but don't worry, once its on your eyes, it does't look red). Blush- My favourite blush is actually the blush from the eye shadow and blush palette. Its really pretty and an amazing colour that you can't really go wrong with! Its a really good palette, so I really think you should check it out! You can also get other Barry M palettes, so check the out too! Summer Love Palette and Smoking Hot Palette.



Lips- I have two lip products that work well together! I'm really sorry, but one is limited edition from Christmas, but hopefully they will bring it back this December?!?! It's the Lush Santa's Lip Scrub, and if you have tried a Lush Lip Scrub before, they are amazing! This one makes your lips go a kinda rosy red colour after applying, and tastes like Coke! This product pairs perfectly with the Cherry Me Baby Lips from Maybelline and they look amazing together! This lip balm is amazing and really moisturising! click here for more info!

Nail Polish- Last, but not least, is the Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paint by Barry M! I love this nail range, and its really affordable! I love the colours Blackberry and Blood Orange! They are so shiny, you don't even have to put a top coat on! Blackberry and Blood Orange here!

SUMMER MOVIE REVIEW PART 1 OF 3 | LIPGLOSS AND 5SOS

Hey everybody!
I'm going to start a summer movie review series! Really excited! The 3 movies I am going to review are Begin Again, The Fault in Our Stars and Walking on Sunshine! The first movie I'm going to be reviewing is Begin Again! Lets get started!

This film is really a feel-good summer movie about music and relationships. Dan is a struggling record label executive, and one night, drinking in a bar, finds Gretta, an amazing songwriter, and Dan thinks they can make an album together. Since I really love music, this movie is brilliant and really enjoyable. My favourite character is Violet. She's a teen girl, who wears really short shorts and crop tops, but Gretta helps her turn her style around, and that helps her life generally! (btw, the picture is her before she changes her style, not after)

If you really like coming of age/drama films, you'll like this, and if you are really interested in music, check this out! I rate this movie 4/5 because it made me smile all the way through it, and it really is a special film, I promise you!
